Taurus x Leo

I found you in space, my love in heaven,

Lion and Bull in nebulous vortex.

I won’t forget the first time you said it.

Rose colored telescopes obscured portents.

For a time we orbited blissfully,

wading through lupines which bloom just for you.

Your grief, to me, was no great mystery.

Waning, our sun sank on a new moon.

The universe expands, stars grow apart.

I lost your voice in the widening void.

Desolation; state of a stranded heart.

Our starship, abandoned, drifting, destroyed.

Lion with lost pride, trudging in the snow,

Regains his mane when next the lupines grow.
